Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires technical expertise in mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics, as well as strong problem-solving skills. We would like someone with an interest in learning and developing their PLC programming skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure equipment at customer sites
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Repair and replace faulty mechanical components
• Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation
• Document service visits and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery
• We work to keep a 1 week traveling and 1 week in the plant routine, however large projects can take as long as 3 weeks. We keep team members aware of these upcoming projects and this long stayover in advance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLC and electrical systems is a plus
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley products is advantageous
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
