Installation Technician

About the Role

We are looking for Installation Technicians to install broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes and businesses. You will be a trusted expert, working independently, troubleshooting, and ensuring a great customer experience.

• Install high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice systems.
• Work independently at customer sites.
• Operate ladders, lift and move up to 60 lbs, work in small spaces or at heights up to 28 ft.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Respond to overtime, emergency callouts, and holiday work.
• Maintain equipment and safety standards.

• Valid state driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 60 lbs and climb ladders up to 28 ft.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, overtime, and holiday work.
• Pre‑employment assessment qualification.

The hourly wage ranges from $25.39 to $32.21; average starting earnings are $52,806 per year. Compensation may vary depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

$10,000.00 sign on bonus currently available (not applicable to internal or rehire employees).

Payout schedule:

• $1,000 after 90 days (no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions).
• $1,500 after 6 months (same conditions).
• $2,500 after 1 year (same conditions).
• $2,500 after 18 months (same conditions).
• $2,500 after 2 years (same conditions).
