Maintenance Technician
Join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility specializing in the manufacture of high-end stainless steel kitchen appliances, including stoves, microwaves, and refrigerators. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a versatile expert, adept in both mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced plant equipment.
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment, including lasers, presses, robots, automated conveyor lines, thermo-forming machines, and foam forming machines.
- Conduct minor welding and fabrication tasks.
- Engage in electrical work, handling up to 480v and troubleshooting PLCs, primarily Allen-Bradley with some Siemens.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Provide your own basic tools; more expensive tools will be supplied.
- Contribute to maintaining a high standard of facility and machinery upkeep.
- 5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
- Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
- Strong skills in repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Electrical expertise, including schematic and blueprint reading.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree.

Work in a 600,000 sq foot facility, renowned for being one of the cleanest and best-maintained manufacturing environments in Southern Wisconsin. The facility is fully automated and climate-controlled. Choose between 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday) or 3rd shift (10pm-6am, Sunday night to Friday morning). Enjoy flexibility with work hours, with the option to work 40 hours or up to 60 hours depending on workload.
The facility offers a $1.50 premium for 2nd shift and a $2.50 premium for 3rd shift. Be part of a growing maintenance team aiming for 9 technicians on both 2nd and 3rd shifts.
This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
