As an Electrical Engineer, you will support electrical build, integration, and testing for customer‑focused projects, ensuring systems meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Develop solutions in collaboration with the Lead Electrical Engineer and customer as needed to refine and confirm the electrical job scope.
- Gather specifications and requirements for equipment to be integrated into the building.
- Resolve cable sizing and conduit sizing in accordance with the National Electrical Code and physical space constraints for connected equipment.
- Partner directly with OEM customers to establish the point‑to‑point wiring requirements and wiring schedules.
- Collaborate with the Lead Electrical Engineer to secure final drawing approval.
- Verify customer‑supplied equipment upon receipt.
- Coordinate and/or perform the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Distribute the action item list upon completion of the FAT and consult on each issue listed.
- 8+ years of electrical field experience required.
- Prior experience in low or medium voltage switch gear, factory acceptance testing, and general electrical testing of power distribution systems.
- Familiarity with the electrical standards specified in the National Electrical Code.
- Strong ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Expertise in multi‑conductor control wiring and optical patch cable specification.
- A safety‑focused approach to work in the production environment for acceptance testing.
