Our client, a government agency specializing in security and facilities management, is seeking a Surveillance & Access Control Technician to join their team. As a Surveillance & Access Control Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting the Security Systems Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?- Provide documentation, project tracking, and management reporting for security systems projects.
- Support surveillance, network, and server systems with extensive experience in planning, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute strategic and tactical input on overall systems planning and related projects.
- Perform system support at multiple state‑wide locations, including secure sites, often independently.
- Maintain detailed system documentation and ensure system integrity and security.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in surveillance, network, and server support or related fields.
- Knowledge of Cisco Networking (Routers & Switches) with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience with Web Filtering technologies such as Palo Alto and Zscaler (1-2 years).
- Knowledge of Video Surveillance systems (Network/Server/Workstation) with 1-2 years of experience.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule with on‑site presence at facilities and prisons as needed.
