Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining high-quality commercial properties. What You'll Do

As a Commercial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving commercial properties through a variety of hands‑on tasks, including:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
  • Maintain and repair building automation and commercial equipment systems
  • Complete service requests efficiently and professionally
  • Prepare commercial suites for new tenants, including repairs, lighting, and system inspections
  • Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional property exteriors and common areas
  • Participate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation (approximately one week every 10 weeks)
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with company standards
What We're Looking For
  • Commercial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
  • Experience working with commercial HVAC equipment and building automation systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Oakbrook's driving requirements
