Maintenance Technician
This role performs preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will troubleshoot and repair a wide range of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and automated production equipment while working closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to maximize uptime and equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and automated production equipment in a timely and effective manner.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and other industrial machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facility systems and accurately document all maintenance activities in the maintenance management system.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Assist with machine installations, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and safety.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining tasks as needed to support equipment repair and modification.
- Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, compressed air, and general building infrastructure.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to improve equipment performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
- Support other facilities as needed and travel when required, following company guidelines and receiving appropriate travel compensation.

This is a full-time 1st shift position, working Monday through Friday on 8-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The role offers significant overtime opportunities, both before and after the regular shift, and may include mandatory overtime during periods of high demand. You will be assigned to a primary home facility but may occasionally support other locations as needed, with travel time compensated according to company policy.

This is a permanent position based out of Madison, WI.
The pay range for this position is $57000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
