Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI) is hiring Diesel Technicians, Diesel Mechanics, HVAC Technicians, Automotive Technicians, and Transport Refrigeration (Reefer) Technicians who are looking for more than just a job to join our Madison, WI team.

Whether you’re experienced or newer to the trade, TRI provides paid on-the-job training and Thermo King factory certification training to help you build a long-term career in the transport refrigeration  this role, you’ll diagnose and repair transport refrigeration units, APUs, diesel heaters, and truck cab A/C systems that keep refrigerated fleets running across the country.

Opportunity to earn Thermo King Master Technician certification

Build expertise in transport refrigeration and mobile HVAC systems

Technician Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain transport refrigeration units, APUs, diesel heaters, and cab A/C systems

Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs

Complete road service calls and participate in on-call rotation (after training)
Meet standard repair times while maintaining quality work Safely operate shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and hoists

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment Requirements High school diploma or GED (technical school preferred)
Valid driver’s license

Basic diesel, automotive, or HVAC mechanical experience

Obtain toolbox and the required tools

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work overtime when needed

Ability to obtain within 1 year:

Thermo King Certi-Tech Certification EPA 608 & 609 Certifications About Transport Refrigeration, Inc.
