Utilities Electrician needed at The Large Power Systems Division located in Lafayette, IN. The role requires troubleshooting and repairing complex domestic and foreign machines and related equipment, including PLC and relay logic–controlled machines.

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC‑controlled conveyors and machines.
• Repair AC/DC analog and digital drives (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
• Perform substation testing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain P&H cranes and hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and other industrial assembly equipment.
• Support production demands and work overtime as required.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical repair of machines and related equipment (boilers, P&H cranes and hoists, conveyors, furnaces, washers, ABB robots, substations).
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC‑controlled machines.
• Experience with AC/DC analog and digital drives.
• Experience with low, medium, and high voltage switch gear.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical prints/schematics.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use basic tools.
• Self‑starter, self‑motivated, works well individually in a team environment.
• Certified electrician (preferred).

• Work in a fast‑paced, medium to heavy‑duty assembly and technical environment.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing, and standing on concrete for 8+ hours.
• Lift 40 pounds and perform repetitive hand movements with varied tooling.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must pass a color blindness test.

• Hourly pay range: $38.52 – $49.03 plus 6% shift premium.
• Sign‑on bonus: $5,000.
• Eligible relocation candidates receive up to $15,000 lump sum.
• Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm).
