We are an established commercial low-voltage systems integrator serving businesses and organizations throughout the Madison area and surrounding Wisconsin communities. For more than 20 years, our team has designed, installed, serviced, and supported technology systems across a wide variety of commercial environments.
Our capabilities include structured cabling, security and access control, video surveillance, audio/video, and communications systems.
We are currently expanding our field team and are interested in speaking with Structured Cabling Technicians at multiple experience levels — from developing technicians looking to grow their skills to experienced Lead Technicians capable of independently running projects and leading installation crews.

We are seeking Structured Cabling Technicians and Lead Cabling Technicians to install, terminate, test, repair, and maintain commercial structured cabling systems throughout the Madison area.
We are open to candidates across a range of experience levels. Developing technicians may work alongside experienced team members while expanding their technical skills, while experienced Lead Technicians may independently manage installations and direct crews of approximately 3–8 technicians.
Our ideal candidates come from a commercial structured cabling or low-voltage environment and take pride in delivering clean, organized, professional installations.
Responsibilities- Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A copper cabling
- Install, terminate, test, and document fiber optic cabling
- Perform copper cable testing and document results
- Build out and dress telecommunications rooms, racks, patch panels, and wire management
- Perform terminations on 110 and 66 blocks
- Install multimedia and other low-voltage cabling
- Install external raceways and associated pathways
- Perform cable routing, labeling, organization, and documentation
- Install sound and paging equipment
- Install access control, security, and video surveillance field hardware as needed
- Perform commercial new construction, renovation, recabling, and service work
- Read and interpret project plans, cabling layouts, and installation requirements
- Maintain accurate records of labor and materials
- Prepare installation documentation, cable paths, testing results, as-builts, and schematics as applicable
- For Lead-level candidates, organize and lead medium-to-large cabling installations and crews of approximately 3–8 technicians
- Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians
- Maintain assigned company vehicle and equipment, where applicable
- Commercial structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience preferred
- Experience with Cat5e, Cat6, and/or Cat6A cabling
- Fiber optic installation and termination experience is highly desirable
- Experience with copper and fiber testing equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with racks, patch panels, telecom closets, cable management, and labeling standards
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, and technical documentation
- Understanding of industry installation standards and applicable building codes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to safely work from ladders, scissor lifts, and articulated boom lifts
