Burke Truck & Equipment is looking to add an Assembly Technician to its growing group of skilled professionals. The position will be based around fitting and installing snow removal equipment on new municipal snow removal trucks. Components will include snow plowing equipment, dump bodies, and hydraulic systems. Duties will include: saw cutting, drilling, tacking, finish welding, part layout, snow plow assembly--prior experience of at least one year of MIG/GMAW welding and/or metal fabrication experience is required for this position.
Modern shop equipment will be provided, such as: welders, torches, ironworkers, and various types of drill presses and mobile drills. Benefit package available, including Health/Dental/Vision insurance, 401K contribution, paid vacation/sick time and Uniforms. Hours will be flexible 6am-4:30pm, up to 50 hours per week. Starting pay will be based on experience, with overtime opportunities. At least one year of MIG/GMAW welding and/or metal fabrication experience is required for this position.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
