Brightstar seeks a Lottery Field Services Technician in Madison, WI. The Lottery Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing Brightstar equipment at retailer (customer) locations and will be part of our award-winning lottery services organization. The Field Service Technician maintains service equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within a specified "zone"to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.

• Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining Brightstar equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
• Attend driver training and follow Brightstar's vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of company vehicles.
• Maintain equipment to promote the continuous operation of Brightstar equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning it, and making minor adjustments to the malfunctioning component. Communicate effectively and efficiently with Dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times, problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Dispatch.
• Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts, such as paper, ribbons, and bet slips, and track the inventory of these items.
• Deliver basic training to new retailers or refresher/remedial training to retailers performing procedures incorrectly, such as changing paper and ribbon.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service-related position.

Background of at least one year in technical repair or a related hands‑on field.

Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.

Capacity to distinguish colors correctly while installing, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment.

Customer-focused communication skills and the ability to work effectively with retailers and Dispatch.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required

Familiarity with field service dispatch processes and route‑based customer support.

Hands‑on expertise troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, or communications equipment.

Inventory experience involving equipment, replacement parts, tools, or consumable supplies.

Climb ladders and work at heights, including rooftops, when completing certain equipment installations.

Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds over significant distances, including from a parked vehicle into or onto a retailer location.
