Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on a variety of plant equipment, ensuring the facility and machinery are kept in top condition.

• Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on plant equipment such as lasers, presses, robots, automated conveyor lines, thermoforming machines, and foam forming machines.
• Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Execute minor welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Participate in special projects to improve or update equipment and facilities.
• Engage in electrical work up to 480v and PLC troubleshooting, primarily using Allen-Bradley and some Siemens systems.

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Strong skills in repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including PLCs.
• Understanding of schematics and blueprints.

• Possession of a 2-year technical degree.
• Capability to provide basic tools for personal use.

Work in one of the cleanest and well-maintained manufacturing facilities in Southern Wisconsin, spanning 600,000 square feet. Choose to work 40 hours a week or up to 60 hours based on project needs. Enjoy a large, automated environment with modern equipment and excellent upkeep. Join the 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday, with the option for shift premiums. The facility offers a collaborative maintenance team environment, aiming to expand to 9 technicians on both the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Madison,WI.
