Volunteer Musician: Brighten Hospice Patients

Volunteers are the HEART of Heartland Hospice! Do you know how to play an instrument and/or enjoy singing? We are looking for more special individuals in or around Madison, Sun Prairie, Verona, Stoughton, Waunakee, Portage and surrounding areas.

Stand in the surrounding community to join our growing team of superstar volunteers! Musician volunteers enrich the lives of hospice patients by sharing their time and talents during social visits. In addition to providing music, volunteers offer much needed companionship and one-on-one support. Service hours are extremely flexible and scheduled according to your availability and location.

Musician volunteers have the power to bring the greatest gifts to our patients' lives ... uplifting music, a smile and reassurance that comes with knowing they are genuinely cared for! Interested applicants will be: at least 18 years old (or 16 if accompanied by a parent or guardian); agree to a background and reference check; attend a volunteer orientation; and complete two TB tests. Reliable transportation is a must!
