Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will serve as a hands-on Senior Technologist/Lead responsible for modernizing client web applications. The role involves migrating legacy applications to modern frameworks and containerized environments, enhancing application architecture, and leading CI/CD pipeline development efforts following Dev Sec Ops  best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of legacy web applications to Spring Boot framework
• Upgrade Java versions and modernize existing Java/J2EE applications
• Update and enhance presentation layers using Angular
• Design and implement microservices architecture
• Migrate applications to container-hosted environments (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes)
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to build a secure, automated CI/CD pipeline
• Provide hands-on coding and architecture support during all phases of development
• Define and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and best practices
• Ensure application scalability, performance, and security
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience with Angular
• 4+ years of hands-on architecture and design experience
• 4+ years of experience developing microservices

• Experience with containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops  practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Sonar Qube)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of RESTful services and API security
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred
