End-to-End TypeScript Engineer — Hybrid, Impactful Builder

Carex is partnering with a Fin Tech industry partner to hire a Full-Stack Engineer (Type Script) for a hybrid opportunity in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for a highly product-minded engineer who enjoys working directly with real operational problems, rapidly building solutions, and owning outcomes end-to-end. Rather than operating in a narrowly scoped engineering function, this person will work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to identify friction points, prototype workflows, and ship production-ready tools that drive measurable business impact.

This is a great fit for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and enjoys acting as the bridge between customer needs and technical execution. Strong Type Script expertise, high ownership, and comfort operating in fast-moving environments are critical for success.

• Design and build product features end-to-end, from backend systems and data models to intuitive frontend experiences.
• Work closely with stakeholders and users to understand operational pain points and rapidly turn ideas into working software.
• Build data-connected workflows and internal tools that improve efficiency, visibility, and execution.
• Prototype quickly, iterate based on real-world feedback, and continuously refine solutions.
• Help shape engineering standards, technical direction, and development practices as the team scales.
• Evaluate and implement modern tooling, frameworks, and AI-assisted development workflows that improve speed and quality.
• Operate with high autonomy and ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Strong professional experience building full-stack applications with Type Script.
• Experience shipping dynamic, data-driven applications used in real operational or customer workflows.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Comfort working directly with stakeholders, gathering context, and independently driving execution.
• Solid understanding of backend systems, schema design, APIs, and scalable application architecture.
• Proven ability to move quickly while maintaining strong engineering judgment and code quality.
• Enthusiasm for modern development tooling, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging engineering practices.
• A high-agency mindset with strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and accountability.

$130,000 - $200,000 base salary plus comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage. This role is hybrid in Madison, Wisconsin, with in-office collaboration a few days each week.
