Join Alliant Energy as a developer focused on modernizing our digital ecosystem. Your role will involve building and enhancing applications using React, APIs, Azure, and enterprise CMS/DXP platforms such as Sitecore. You will contribute to application enhancements, integrations, AI‑enabled initiatives, and major platform transformation projects.

• Ensure critical review points and quality assurance controls are integrated into development activities and that integrations and transformations meet quality standards.
• Identify, analyze, and fulfill business and technical requirements throughout solution development.
• Support technical design activities by analyzing requirements and evaluating solution options.
• Develop and deliver solutions for moderately complex needs by refining requirements, supporting solution design, creating test plans, executing testing, and implementing system enhancements.
• Perform testing for moderately complex systems and transformations and support testing of complex systems and integrations.
• Support operation and maintenance of applications and integrations, evaluating change requests, performing routine maintenance, and contributing to system improvements under general guidance.
• Develop and monitor system controls to ensure application performance and reliability, and support reporting and data query needs for end users.
• Analyze solutions using standard procedures to support functional and end‑user needs, including system maintenance, issue resolution, and participation in on‑call support activities.
• Apply emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to support application development, improve efficiency, and enhance system functionality.
• Engage in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy's values and help deliver on our purpose.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).

• At least 3 years of related experience.

• Experience supporting enterprise, customer‑facing, or operational applications.
• Experience working with system integrations or platform‑based solutions.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

• Working knowledge of application development concepts and system integration practices.
• Ability to analyze problems of moderate complexity and develop effective solutions.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and practices.
• Understanding of application architecture, data structures, and integration patterns.
• Ability to work across multiple technology platforms and environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team‑based environment.

Alliant Energy offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive compensation, health and retirement benefits, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and an annual incentive program. Pay for this position ranges from $79,000 to $102,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
