**** What you will do
*** Performs in a technical leadership and oversight role for their immediate team.
* Supports alignment of solutions with enterprise architecture and collaborates with domain architects. Works with internal team and stakeholders to design and implement architecture-centric solutions.
* Responsible for documenting and communicating the architectural design of software and hardware solutions.
* Develops, refines, optimizes, and supports the solution architecture as required to meet the business needs and non-functional requirements.
* Creates and maintains solution architecture artifacts, applying best practices and contributing to approval processes. Provides technical guidance to team members and contributes to solving complex problems.
* Engages with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, data flows, integrations and dependencies, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
* Collaborates with other Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs.
* Demonstrates technical leadership within the team, influencing practices and mentoring others. Applies existing best practices and contributes to evaluating new technologies when appropriate.
* Supports assessment of compatibility and integration of products and services within assigned scope.
* Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.
** Education Requirements
*** Bachelor’s Degree | Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred.
