The Division of Management Services is currently recruiting to fill an IT Programmer/Analyst Senior (IS Systems Development Services Senior) position. This position will be headquartered at DOC central office in Madison, WI.
Position SummaryThis position perform analysis, design, and development in supporting our offender applications for the DOC and works with department personnel of all levels to identify system requirements, plan, and design, develop, integrate and extend in-house and vendor software applications to meet business needs. This position will perform work in a variety of technical environments including cloud/web-based technologies, Oracle, SQL server, client-server, on-line and/or batch processing.
This position will work as a member of Vendor Managed Systems and performs tasks independently and/or part of a team to solve problems and support production systems and/or processes.
This position has a strong focus on DOC’s Juvenile Offender Management system, as well as other vendor managed software packages. Duties also include development, maintenance and support of reports, SQL, versioning.
Salary InformationThe starting pay is between $63980 and $99257 per year, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. The pay schedule/range is 07-34. A 12-month probationary period is required.
