Local Truck Driver – CDL A Required

Pay:$20 - $24/hr + Overtime + Benefits

We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver to support local feed delivery and daily feed mill operations. This position combines local driving with hands-on feed manufacturing and facility work
, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy variety, teamwork, and a consistent daytime schedule.

You’ll be responsible for delivering feed and related products to area producers while also assisting with feed production, equipment operation, and general mill duties. Our goal is to provide dependable service, high-quality products, and strong relationships within the agricultural community.

Local Delivery & Transportation

• Deliver feed and agricultural products to customers within the local service area

• Safely operate manual transmission quad-axle and semi-trucks

• Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time service

• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and documentation

• Follow all DOT regulations and maintain CDL compliance

Feed Mill & Facility Operations

• Assist with feed manufacturing and ingredient handling

• Operate feed mill equipment safely and efficiently

• Mix and prepare livestock feed to meet quality and formulation standards

• Load finished feed into designated bins and delivery vehicles

• Support routine maintenance and basic equipment repairs

Safety, Maintenance & Teamwork

• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs

• Load and unload trucks in a safe, efficient manner

• Perform housekeeping and general facility upkeep

• Maintain a professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service

• Work collaboratively and contribute positively to the cooperative culture

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience

• Valid Class A CDL (additional endorsements preferred)

• Strong safety record and clean driving history

• Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions

• Climb in and out of trucks multiple times per shift

• Climb truck ladders to inspect loads

• Sweep out loads from trucks as needed

• Lift up to 60 pounds occasionally

• Perform physical, hands-on tasks in a feed mill environment

• Local driving – no long-haul routes
