Truck Driver - Finished Goods Darlington Wisconsin (US) Supply Chain & Logistics 40+

The Truck Driver – Finished Goods Delivery is responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant transportation of whey protein, cheese, and other dairy products to customer locations and distribution centers. This role involves operating refrigerated and/or dry van equipment, maintaining product quality and temperature control, and ensuring compliance with all safety and food‑grade handling standards.

Reporting To:
Manager of Logistics

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver finished dairy products to customers and distribution centers
  • Ensure on‑time deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure safe operation of equipment
  • Load and unload products using appropriate material handling equipment
  • Verify shipment accuracy against delivery documentation (BOLs, invoices)
  • Maintain accurate logs for HOS, mileage, and compliance with DOT regulations
  • Monitor product condition and temperature during transport
  • Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of trailers (refrigerated and/or dry)
  • Report delays, damages, mechanical issues, or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience (food‑grade or refrigerated preferred)
  • Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with refrigerated equipment and temperature‑controlled transport preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service
  • Detail‑oriented, reliable, and accountable

This role is part of the Logistics team and collaborates closely with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure efficient delivery operations and high service standards. Strong communication, teamwork, and accountability are essential to success in this role.
