Job Details- Compensation:
The hourly base pay range for this position is $20 per hour. - Work Schedule:
Early Morning (4 a.m. – 1 p.m.). - Benefits:

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and from the hotel, hospital or casino and local area in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner using safe driving practices. They also assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during arrival and departure, and maintain vehicle activity and maintenance logs.
Essential Functions- Shuttle guests to approved locations, learning and remembering pick‑up and destination points. Knowledge of property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, parking rates, attractions, etc. (40%).
- Communicate by telephone, two‑way radio and in person in a courteous, friendly and professional manner with all guests, location staff and co‑workers. Acknowledge and greet guests within 30 seconds while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor, using guests’ last names when appropriate. (20%).
- Operate a vehicle that seats sixteen people or more, inspecting exterior and interior of vehicle at the beginning of each shift for operating lights, signals, brakes, courtesy lights, HVAC, mirrors, tires, wipers, damage, etc. Monitor vehicle condition, record malfunctions or damage and submit to manager. (20%).
- Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Maintain the security of client financial and identifying information. May not provide lift services; only offer a hand for assistance. Check wheelchairs for safe operation prior to each use and clean them afterward. Assist patrons with entering and exiting the vehicle; may be required to use specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts. (20%).
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Required Licensure &
Certifications:
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement issued by the state.
- Pass criminal background, MVR and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years old; maintain a valid driver’s license at all times.
- Pass annual/semiannual MVR check and maintain DOT endorsements.
- Complete Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park.
- Possess current Medical Examiner’s Certificate and maintain bi‑annual physical exam as applicable.
Work Experience: At least three years of commercial driving experience or nine years of licensed driving experience.
Knowledge: Must be able to drive manual transmission.
Skills:
- Ability to read and write standard English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
- Basic arithmetic: add/subtract 3‑digit numbers, multiply/divide with tens and hundreds, and use US currency.
- Understand 24‑hour and military time systems.
- Understand rates applicable to time passed.
