HOURS: 6:00 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m. (hours will vary)
WAGES: Commensurate with qualifications
JOB SUMMARY: Will perform maintenance on all fleetequipmentperforming general maintenance,serviceandrepair.
JOB DUTIES:
- Accurately perform basic preventative maintenance and standard repairs on trailer equipment.
- Must have knowledge of engine diagnostic and repair, air systems, electrical, refrigeration, brakes.
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot.
- Must have or be able to obtain EPA Class II Refrigeration Certificate.
- Ensure work area is clean and organized.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Good communication skills and computer skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Carrier and/or Thermo King experience preferred. Associate degree/High School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience. Must have or be willing to secure valid CDL. Must be safety conscious, company minded and a leader. Must be able to successfully complete all safety courses and required training. Must meet Mechanic/Transportation physical abilities evaluation.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
