Position Details
Pay: $29.70 per hour. Component pay is added after a brief training period.
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday nights with start and end times varying. Home daily.
CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.

As a Shuttle Driver, you will transport empty trailers to the Operating Company warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate a tandem trailer, tractor–trailer, and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). You will communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co‑workers, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities- Perform all required safety checks and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.
- Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies; immediately report all safety hazards.
- Inspect the trailer to ensure freight is properly loaded and secured.
- Ensure all required route paperwork is available to the driver upon dispatch.
- Drive and deliver trailers according to the predetermined route schedule.
- Perform hook/unhook procedures in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
- Ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured.
- Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in the empty trailer; bring back to driver check‑in at base facility and complete necessary paperwork.
- Unload all equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required.
- Complete the daily record of hours of service and enter it in the log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 12 months of commercial driving experience.
- Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years.
- Work required during the 3rd shift schedule, Sunday – Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
- Pass pre‑employment drug test.
- Pass road test.
- Valid current DOT Health Card and/or ability to secure a new DOT Health Card.
- Ability to hand‑lift and utilize a two‑wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight during the shift; products generally range from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location.
$29.70 per hour.
