Position Overview

Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily No Touch job at Ryder System, Madison, AL.

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Madison, AL.

• $1,030 or more per week
• Hourly Pay: $25.76 per hour
• Shutdown Bonus: $2,000 paid in two installments
• Safety Bonus: up to $250 per quarter, if applicable
• Hours per week: 50+
• Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Friday, some Saturdays
• Start times: AM and PM

• Deliver SOLO to AL

Trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 roadside maintenance. Company drivers refuel at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Uniform and boot allowance provided

We will buy your truck if you are looking to switch from Owner Operator to a Company Employee Driver.

• Minimum 21years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last3years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• ClassA experience, mandated: 9months within past3years, 2years within past5years, or 5years within past
  10years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
