Class A CDL Local Driver/Manager – Hazmat | 3 yrs exp req

Hot Line Freight System Inc is hiring a safety-focused Class A CDL Local Driver/Manager for an immediate full-time, day-shift position based in Madison WI. This dual role is a Monday–Friday local pickup and delivery driver position including facility management duties. This role offers consistent hours and no over-the-road travel.

We are looking for a dependable CDL driver with a clean driving record, Hazmat endorsement, and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism with the ability to lead the facility to meet company goals.

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle for local pickup and delivery routes
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently (forklift operation when required)
• Transport hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and company safety regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
• Lead, coach and counsel team members
• Manage staffing to meet facility needs

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat endorsement (required)
• Minimum 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience
• Clean driving record and strong safety history
• Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, day shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Work productively in an autonomous environment

• Forklift experience
• Local pickup and delivery experience
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance standards
• TMS (Transportation Management Software) experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
