Job Overview

Location: Madison, WI

No weekend or holiday work. Local candidates only. No relocation will be provided.

Work Hours: Warehouse Associate – 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM;
Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver – 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup per schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  • Receive and process stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
  • Perform inventory controls and maintain high quality standards.
  • Keep a clean, safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, performing preventative maintenance.
  • Occasionally fill in for the backup driver making deliveries to other businesses.
  • Substitute driver routes when drivers are unavailable.
  • Complete order receipts and stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts.
  • Receive, count, and record stock items manually or on the computer.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
  • Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers based on incoming requisitions.
  • Receive, unload, open, unpack, or issue sales floor merchandise.
Qualifications
  • Basic experience with warehouse picking and packing under close supervision.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Experience with RF scanning (a plus).
  • Strong organization and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency reading and writing in English as it relates to job and safety requirements.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $18 – $20/hr based on experience. Compensation may include participation in an incentive or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives.

Benefits: 2 weeks of time off in the first year plus paid holidays, paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.
