Warehouse Worker
Fortis Native Group is looking for a Warehouse Worker for an onsite position. This role requires an active DoD Secret level clearance.
Responsibilities- Receiving and processing stock: unload, inspect, label, and store incoming shipments accurately to maintain inventory integrity and prevent damage or loss.
- Order fulfillment: pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly labeled and dispatched on schedule.
- Inventory management: maintain accurate records, conduct regular audits, and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Equipment operation: safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, performing daily inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
- Safety and compliance: follow safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards, including GMP, HACCP, or other industry guidelines.
- Warehouse organization: keep the warehouse clean, organized, and sanitary; manage storage areas, rotate stock, and optimize space for efficiency.
- Support and coordination: assist supervisors and team members with logistics coordination, training, and workflow management to maintain smooth operations.
- Loading and unloading trucks or shipping containers.
- Preparing shipping documents and handling logistics details.
- Offloading, checking in, and receiving shipments into inventory systems such as SAP.
- Assisting with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
- High school diploma or equivalent, typically preferred.
- Must have an active DoD Secret level clearance or be able to obtain and maintain one.
- Physical capability to lift and handle heavy items.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and equipment operation.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficient flow of goods.
- Pass a favorable background and drug screen and meet eligibility requirements for access to government computer systems or facilities.
The REAL for a REAL –compliant driver’s license or another acceptable form of identification for domestic flights and federal facilities is May 7, 2025. Anyone attempting to enter the DMEA site without a REAL be turned away.
Citizenship requirements: provide at least one of the following for proof of citizenship:
- U.S. passport
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of naturalization
- Second be a state‑issued REAL r’s license or a valid government I.D.
