Warehouse Lead

Octopi Brewing LLC is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced contract beverage facility. You'll coordinate receiving, storage, staging, and shipping of ingredients and finished goods, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality. This role leads a small team, assigns work, trains staff, and operates forklifts and material-handling equipment. You'll collaborate closely with brewing, packaging, and logistics to keep production running smoothly and support continuous improvement in our modern, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping for beverage production and distribution
• Assign tasks, train, and support warehouse team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Coordinate material flow with brewing, packaging, and logistics to ensure on-time production and accurate inventory
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment; ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of raw materials and finished goods
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and proper documentation in warehouse systems
• Enforce OSHA, food-safety, and company safety standards; maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse
• Track KPIs, identify process improvements, and support continuous-improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and external carriers to resolve issues and support efficient shipping
