Full-time/Non-Exempt | $21.30/hour | 7 am - 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday, 4/10 schedule with a rotating weekday off | Occasional overtime required

Job Summary

The Logistics Forklift Operator is a key operations team member responsible for supporting daily warehouse and shipping functions. This position assists with sorting, handling, and redistributing donated items, maintaining warehouse inventory, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The role is hands-on and contributes directly to productivity and smooth operations across St. Vincent de Paul facilities.

What

You’ll Do
  • Sort, process, and prepare donated goods and materials for retail, recycling, or disposal.
  • Safely load and unload trucks and trailers and operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with safety and waste procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and support recycling and waste reduction efforts.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production areas.
  • Work collaboratively across production areas to meet operational and productivity goals.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, donors, vendors, and staff and address issues professionally.
  • Follow safety procedures, participate in required training, and report hazards and maintenance concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
