Description

Heavy Truck Technician Instructor (Part‑Time) – . We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Part‑Time Heavy Truck Technician Instructor. This role involves teaching and training individuals in heavy truck maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience as a heavy truck technician along with a strong background in heavy truck systems and technology.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and training materials focused on heavy truck maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
  • Conduct hands‑on training sessions in a classroom or lab environment, using industry‑standard tools and equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support to students as they work on practical exercises and projects related to heavy truck technology.
  • Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, and practical assessments, offering constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and safety regulations relevant to heavy truck maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to enhance curriculum content and instructional methods.
  • Assist in maintaining training equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Mentor and advise students interested in pursuing careers in heavy truck technology.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years of practical experience as a heavy truck technician or in a related field.
  • Heavy truck ASE Certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in heavy truck systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts effectively.
  • Experience developing instructional materials and delivering training sessions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations governing heavy truck maintenance and repair.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and helping students succeed in their educational and career goals.
  • Willingness to adapt to industry changes and incorporate new technologies into curriculum design.
