• Strong people management and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience supervising teams within catering or hospitality
• Excellent customer service and organisation skills
• Practical cooking skills to support high standards in school meals
• Knowledge of health and safety and food safety regulations
• Ability to handle multiple sites and priorities effectively

• Support the Regional Operations Manager in managing multiple school catering sites, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Lead, motivate, and develop dispersed catering teams across various locations
• Oversee stock ordering, financial reporting, and banking procedures
• Deliver training to kitchen staff on food safety, health and safety, and service standards
• Assist with recruitment, inductions, and staff development initiatives
• Implement and monitor service improvements and innovation within the school meals sector
• Manage stakeholder relationships including liaising with school staff, suppliers, and environmental health officers
