As a Process Engineer Level 2 or Level 3 located in Magna, UT, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
The selected candidate will support the Bacchus Value Stream Motor Assembly processes.
Role Description & ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and improving manufacturing processes for the production of energetic products
Performing cause and corrective action activities to permanently eliminate defects
Working with the concurrent engineering team to create Build-to-Packages (i.e. engineering and planning documents)
Authoring, updating and reviewing shop floor planning
Preparing and presenting technical presentations to VSET, leadership, and the customers for review and approval
Performing table-top reviews
Using SPC tools to ensure process control
Developing and incorporating process improvements
Troubleshooting production/tooling/facility issues and implementing improvements and solutions
Supporting design, checkout, qualification, and implementation of new or modified tooling or equipment

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Level 2 Basic QualificationsB.S. degree in STEM (Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, or other technical degrees may be considered), 2 years of experience, or 0 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
Process Controls (SPC)
Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques
Interpreting blueprints and specifications
Experience writing shop planning
Experience working with energetic materials and processes.
B.S. degree in STEM (Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, or other technical degrees may be considered), 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $
Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $
