Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst – Level 2 or Level 3 , to join our team in Magna UT .

This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.

In this job, you will:
  • Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on capital projects requiring a validated cost schedule control system.
  • Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that projects are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for capital projects and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
  • Monitor funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparation of expenditure projections.
  • Incorporate scope changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each project to maintain realistic EAC cost and schedule baselines.
  • Perform miscellaneous financial analysis including monthly financial reporting/forecasting and monthly Business Management Reviews (BMRs) to leadership.
  • Continually assess and improve financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Level 2 - Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting – OR – Master’s degree with 1+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
  • Level 3 - Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Microsoft Office experience, including MS Excel (expert), Teams, Outlook, Word.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Oracle Primavera, BI Tools, and Sharepoint document sharing.
  • Department of Defense (DoD) experience.
  • Aerospace, Space, or Defense industry experience.
