The Northrop Grumman PMO team is seeking a Computer Operations Analyst to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space Systems support team under the Chief Information & Digital office (CIDO).
The selected candidates primary focus will be Windows Systems Administration support and enclave compliance activities at our Magna, UT location in support of the Central Manufacturing Support Region.

- The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our facility/campus. This is not a virtual position.
This position may require participation in a possible 'on call' work rotation as required.
The Computer Operations Analyst:
Analyzes, documents and reports computer processing problems, determines cause, assesses alternative solutions, implements corrective action and monitors to avoid recurrence. Develops, coordinates and maintains department operating procedures and systems to ensure effective problem-solving operations. Maintains control of software and hardware change implementations and coordinated changes with applicable personnel to ensure proper utilization of CPU resources, channel I/O completion, peripheral devices, DASD and network environments.
Provides network, computer and equipment problem resolution support to improve customer satisfaction in reliability, availability, and cost of service. Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
General duties:
- Provide technical support for computers and associated networks.
- Provide client and server hardware or software support.
- Connect clients, servers, and terminals to existing data networks.
- Instruct users in the use of hardware and networks.
- Investigates information, network, and communications needs of users, and makes recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
- Assist Info Sec with DFARS, CMMC compliance responsibilities.
Specific responsibilities supporting Engineering and/or Manufacturing Operations:
- Off-network and lab environments - setup, maintenance, compliance and vulnerability remediation; support client and server domain migration.
- Engineering and Manufacturing system support - setup, maintenance, troubleshoot compliance and vulnerability remediation.
- Setup and configure rack mount workstations.
- Server application support.
- Engineering application support - install, configure, and troubleshoot engineering applications
- Network data port activation and testing.
Other duties (as required):
- Provide technical support for computers; install, troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers, related PC software, and peripherals.
- Instruct users in the use of personal computers.
- Investigate information, network, and communications needs of users, and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
