Responsibilities
- You will lead productivity projects delivering significant operating‑profit improvement across multiple events and initiatives
- Provide consultative guidance to functional and business partners to drive operational excellence
- Communicate urgency for change and model behaviors that accelerate adoption of new processes
- Enforce process discipline to ensure consistent execution and compliance
- Own KPIs and regional reporting; accountable for achieving annual regional cost‑savings targets
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools as a Project Lead to improve quality, speed, and cost performance
- Align continuous‑improvement activities with regional strategies and operational priorities
- Partner with client groups to identify opportunities, develop project ideas, and charter initiatives
- Execute sub‑$1MM productivity projects in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
- You will develop productivity alternatives with appropriate risk profiles and mitigation actions
- Influence outcomes across broad responsibility areas and beyond direct client groups
- Monitor internal and external best practices and recommend enhancements to productivity methods, tools, and procedures
- Mentor Green Belts to build organizational capability in Lean and Six Sigma
- More than five (5+) years of Business/Project Management experience with demonstrated leadership in cross‑functional environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical learning background
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using statistical software for data analysis
- Ability to travel 25–35% based on business needs
West Region, United States – onsite in the Tempe, AZ Regional office or at a West Region Area Plant (Tacoma, WA;
Hillsboro, OR; Pittsburg, CA; Wilmington, CA; Ontario, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Magna, UT; Loveland, CO; or Phoenix, AZ).
Competitive compensation with a salary range of $125,475 to $184,030. Additional benefits include health, dental, disability, and life insurance; paid holidays and vacation; 401(k) matching; pension benefits; an employee discount program; and opportunities for educational and professional growth.
