Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers with purchases, operate the cash register, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe store environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner

* Accurately process transactions using the cash register and handle payments

* Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise

* Maintain cleanliness of the store, including the sales floor, restrooms, and fuel pumps

* Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers as needed

* Follow safety and security procedures, including age verification for restricted products

* Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally

Skills & Requirements:

* Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and other POS systems.

* Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers.

* Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus.

* Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace effectively.

* Willingness to learn about store processes, products, and services.

* Ability to remain composed in confrontational situations.

* Capability to work in a high-volume, sometimes high-pressure environment.

* Flexibility to work a schedule that includes Sunday through Saturday. Availability to open and close the store as needed.

* Must be able to work in cold environments, such as outdoor cold weather and indoor coolers.

* Must also be able to work in heat during the summer months to perform outdoor duties.
