** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and controlled-access points to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable armed post requirements.

+ Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, maintain accurate activity reports, and promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Operate within established post orders, applicable laws, and company policies while maintaining a professional presence in environments where conditions may vary.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
