Special Response​/Flex Security Officer

Garda World Security Services U.S. is seeking a Special Response / Flex Security Officer to support varied client sites in the professional, scientific, and technical sectors. In this fast-paced, mission-driven role, you will provide high-visibility security, access control, patrols, incident response, and report writing across multiple locations and shifts. Officers must adapt quickly to changing environments, follow strict procedures, and enforce client policies with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed or unarmed security presence at assigned client sites
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols to deter and detect suspicious activity
• Control access, verify credentials, and monitor visitor and contractor entry
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following post orders
• Document events through detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and public safety partners
• Enforce site policies and procedures while delivering professional customer service
• Adapt to changing posts, schedules, and environments as a flex officer
• Use security technology such as CCTV, access control systems, and radios
• Support safety, risk management, and escalation protocols as directed
