- Conduct comprehensive inspections of mechanical systems, safety features, and overall vehicle condition to keep assets reliable and roadworthy.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across engines, transmissions, suspension systems, braking systems, and electrical components using structured troubleshooting.
- Perform timely repairs and replacements on tires, brakes, bearings, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems to reduce downtime.
- Execute preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and precise lubrication to extend equipment service life.
- Test vehicle systems after repair to guarantee functionality and compliance with company standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage accurate service logs, repair records, and inspection documentation; communicate repair recommendations to management; schedule warranty work with equipment manufacturers; uphold a clean and organized work environment while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
- Operate snowplow equipment to safely and efficiently clear snow and ice from roads and designated areas, ensuring safe travel conditions.
- Safety‑focused professional who upholds rigorous safety protocols, protects teammates and customers, and maintains an organized, hazard‑free workspace.
- Minimum of three years of commercial vehicle maintenance experience across engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, suspensions, and braking systems.
- Hold Automotive Service Excellence certifications or equivalent expertise and actively pursue ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Communicate clearly with management and drivers, deliver precise documentation, and take responsibility for proactive recommendations that prevent downtime.
- Manage multiple work orders, prioritize preventative maintenance, and guarantee quality through thorough testing and verification against company and regulatory requirements.
