Summary

The Construction Helper partners with the Construction Crew Leader to complete the necessary tasks and projects for the construction department

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Make the vehicle ready for the day planned by the work assigned, (Load parts according to what is given by the inventory coordinator, ice for cooler, etc.).Assist in loading and unloading of heavy equipment.

Assist the Crew Leader in completing the work.

Assist the Crew Leader with maintaining required vehicle logs.

Observe safety in completing the work orders in compliance with standards and regulations.

Maintain cleanliness of equipment and tools

Perform any other activities that are asked of.

Key Performance Indicators Acceptable evaluation by Construction Crew Leader Qualifications Education  & Experience High school graduate or equivalent.

Mechanically inclined and interested.

Prefer some related utility experience.

Language/Math/Reasoning Ability Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Computer Skills Some personal computer skills include electronic mail, record keeping, Paycom, etc.

Physical Requirements Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily product/technical nature.

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
