Student Development​/Technology Coordinator

Duties: provide technological support through the implementation of technology course work, parental involvement, maintaining Upward Bounds homepage, and assessment of technology abilities and skills; assist project director in determining technology related staff development needs as well as provide training activities for staff and school personnel who wish to participate; assist project director in determining technology needs within the program; coordinate with assistant director to provide workshops, parental activities and college/career activities;

assess student technology needs within the Upward bound/SAU program; assist with the planning and implementation of a comprehensive technology curriculum; create brochures, ceremonial programs, fliers and applications for Upward Bound through Canva, Microsoft Office software and/or other related software; create recruitment presentations and conduct home interviews, coordinate Upward Bound work-study program and Upward Bound Alumni program and other duties as assigned.

Must be available to attend educational trips, college tours and professional development trainings provided within the Upward Bound program.

Qualifications:

bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, of computer information systems; proficiency in database management, technology learning skills, post-secondary admission requirements and other supporting services; knowledge and experience with academic career counseling theories and methodology; ability to plan and organize activities and workshops related to state of the art technology; good organization skills.
