Cast Member

City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic and behavior support to students
• Lead small-group and one-on-one tutoring sessions
• Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement
• Track and report student progress to school partners and City Year staff
• Support school-wide events, activities, and positive school climate initiatives
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and professional development
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team and school staff
• Communicate regularly with supervisors about progress and challenges
