Reactor Operator

Position

Reactor Operator – Production Department, Magnolia. Reports to the Production Crew Leader.

• Comply with all company rules, policies and procedures.
• Assist in creating spreads, pulling and pushing buns.
• Conduct and log daily inspections of work areas and equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance and assist in plant cleanup during down time.
• Complete Reactor Operator task list, daily checklist, and forklift inspection.
• Run assorted quality tests in the lab and make resin batches.
• Move raw materials from the warehouse to the production area.
• Load, unload and move hazardous and non‑hazardous waste and raw materials.
• Compact scrap foam and write work orders.
• Participate in the Site 5S program and attend all required safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader.

• High School education or equivalent.
• Wage Certificate preferred for new hires.
• One year of production or plant operations experience.
• Computer literacy – use Windows‑based systems.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, use hands, reach, push, pull and lift up to 100lbs.
• Manual dexterity, normal vision, hearing, and ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Must operate forklifts and other basic factory equipment.
• Proficiency in using PPE and maintaining a safe work environment.
