Purpose:

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

• Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university;
  Valid Texas teaching certificate, with required endorsements for subjects/level assigned.

  General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Experience: At least one year of student teaching or approved internship.
• Working Conditions: Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
• Wage/Hour Status: Exempt.
• Pay Grade: 60.
• Reports to: Campus Principal.
• Days: 187.
