Touchstone Communities is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our full-time care team in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. In this role, you will safely administer prescribed medications, accurately document and report resident responses, and support daily living needs in a homelike environment. You'll collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, residents, and families while upholding our faith-based, servant-leadership culture focused on dignity, respect, and person-centered care.

This position offers opportunities to grow clinical skills and contribute meaningfully to residents' recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Administer routine medications to residents under nurse supervision following physician orders and facility policies
  • Monitor, document, and report residents' responses, side effects, and changes in condition promptly
  • Assist residents with daily living activities to support comfort, dignity, and safety
  • Maintain accurate medication records, MARs, and proper medication storage and counts
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, residents, and families regarding care plans
  • Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
  • Support a compassionate, faith-based, resident-centered care environment
  • Participate in shift reports, training, and quality improvement initiatives
