Dollar General | Flexible Scheduling + Insurance & 401(k) Eligibility + PTO + Tuition Assistance | Responsibilities:
Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.;
Unload trucks according to the prescribed process for the store; stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves and build displays.;
Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase; bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.;
Greet customers; maintain a clean, well-organized store; uphold safety and security practices; provide superior customer service leadership.;
Open and/or close the store under direction of the Area Manager; assist in maintaining cashier accountability and cash control procedures..
