Kolache Factory is seeking motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Magnolia team as a Team Lead (Management Trainee). This position is designed for individuals who want more than just a job—it is a leadership development opportunity with a clear path toward becoming a Store Manager.

As a Team Lead, you will work alongside our management team to learn the skills, responsibilities, and leadership qualities required to successfully operate a Kolache Factory location. You'll help lead daily operations, support team members, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain our quality and operational standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead by example and set the standard for customer service
• Assist in overseeing daily bakery and café operations
• Support and coach team members during shifts
• Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards are met
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help manage cash handling and operational accountability
• Maintain a positive, productive, and guest-focused environment
• Learn the operational and leadership skills necessary for store management

Qualifications

• 90-Day Management Trainee Program
• This position includes a structured 90-day training and evaluation period designed to prepare you for increased leadership responsibilities.
• During your training, you will develop skills in:
• Team leadership and employee coaching
• Customer service excellence
• Food safety and sanitation
• Inventory and operational procedures
• Cash accountability
• Problem-solving and decision-making
• Shift management and store operations
• At the conclusion of the 90-day training period:
• Team Leads who successfully demonstrate leadership abilities, complete required training, and consistently perform assigned responsibilities will continue in the Team Lead role and be considered for advancement opportunities, including Store Manager positions.
• Team members who do not successfully meet Team Lead expectations may transition into a Baker or Cashier role at the applicable pay rate for that position.
