The Town of Mahone Bay is seeking a dedicated financial leader for the Manager of Finance role. Working under the Chief Administrative Officer, you will be the Town's Treasurer and a key advisor to the Council. This position involves providing oversight of municipal finances and supporting strategic planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as Treasurer and financial consultant for the Town
• Manage comprehensive financial operations and reports
• Advise the Chief Administrative Officer and Council members
• Facilitate budget discussions with municipal departments
• Enhance fiscal policies to benefit the community
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in financial management, preferably municipal
• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
• Proficient in financial data analysis
• Strong communication and advisory abilities
