Accounting Manager​/Assistant Conroller CPA

Overview

Hybrid Position CPA – responsible for strong general ledger month‑end close, financial statement preparation, and managing a team. Supports audits and maintains internal controls.

• Prepare and review general ledger accounting, financial statements, and account analysis.
• Execute month‑end close, ensuring account activity is recorded, corrections are made, adjustments calculated, and journal entries prepared.
• Prepare schedules, financial statement highlights, and review accrual schedules and ad‑hoc reports and analysis.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
• Review and verify entries to ensure accuracy of all account figures.
• Assist with external and internal audits.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and cash posting reports.

• CPA required; preferred strong public (auditing) experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, accruals and month‑end close.
• Experience managing a team.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
